Fishing is the most popular reason for making the trip over to Bimini. There are fish during all seasons out here. Wahoo is a favorite during the winter months. Bimini Sands is also host to a Wahoo tournament during the month of October. Dolphin and Marlin are also around during the summer months and Yellowfin tuna, late spring and summer.
Ocean bacon for dinner? Who doesn't love hog fish? When you book 8F, I will help you on where to go for shooting some good dinner. Lobster is a great addition to your dinner plate and quite abundant around Bimini.
Snorkel the Sapona or explore the Great Issac lighthouse. The Sapona is about 3 miles south of Bimini Sands and the light house about 20 miles north. Climb up either, but only jump off the Sapona!!!
After a day on the water who doesn't like to have a drink (with or without booze, we don't judge) out by the infinity pool. less than a 3 minute walk (100 yards) puts you at one of the best sunset spots in the whole world. (Biased opinion? Probably! see for yourself)
Located just 7.5 miles south of Bimini Sands, Honeymoon harbor is a place that everyone will love. With resident stingrays and nurse sharks (friendly) it will be a "sandbar" experience you will never forget.
Whether scuba diving or freediving, the crystal clear waters surrounding Bimini will not disappoint. There are even local dive operations out of Bimini Big game club on the north island.
